How To Clean Your Flat Iron

Do you have a flat iron that has never been properly cleaned? This is something that most people do not even think about, none the less do themselves. I have a stylehouse flat iron http://mybestflatiron.com/hair-straightener-reviews/stylehouse-flat-iron/ (from this website) and I clean it once a week!

The reason so many people just use their flat iron and not clean them is because they didn’t think that had to, let me tell you something, you must clean your flat iron if you want it to continue to work as good as it is and for it to last a long time.

There are a few ways that you can clean your flat iron but I want to show you how to do it the most common way. The reason why I want to show you this method is because it is the simplest and it doesn’t require anything that you would not find in your bathroom. The one thing you need to understand is that the more you clean your flat iron the better it will work and the better your hair will look because of it.

The first thing you need to do is pick any hair or dirt out of the corners around the hot plate (make sure the flat iron is not plugged it) and you will do this with either a needle or tweezers. The reason why you want to do this is so that you can get to any loose dirt in just a minute. What you will do in order to get that loose dirt is to take a cotton swab and run it along all the creases and any corners in order to get all the dirt out. The thing you need to understand when doing this is you might have to get the end of the cotton swab wet in order to get it as clean as you can.

The last thing you will need to do in order to clean your flat iron is to get a wash cloth and get it just a little bit moist and use that to wipe off the hot plates and the handles. The reason why you want to make sure it is just a little bit moist is because you don’t want to ruin your flat iron by using way too much water. What you need to understand is that the cleaner you can keep your flat iron the better it is going to be for you and the longer it is going to last.
