this recently happened to me. in a text my boyfriend sent me "its over.
it just wasn't working out. I'm not ready for a relationship. its over
and I'm sorry. i hope we can be friends".
Harsh? i think so.
but here are a few ways to feel better if you were recently harshly dumped.
1. talk to a close friend or family member.
to someone you know will always be there for you and has always been
there for you. Not the people who ask you what happened b.c they saw
your facebook said "no longer listed as in a relationship". stick to
your true friends, they know whats best for you.
2. go shopping.
i know, i know, shallow. whatever. getting something new will make you feel better. idk why, but it always works.
3. consider whether they're worth the hurt.
on the bad things with them. the good will only make you feel worse.
whether it was a habit that always annoyed you, or the way they acted
around the other sex, anything, it will make you feel better to know
you can do better than them.
4.express your feelings.
keeping it all in is NOT good. cry, play music, write it down, scream!! show your feelings! you will feel alot better!!
5. know that you are not the only one hurting.
will be good to know that other people know how you feel and can help
you get through it. going through something alone can really hurt.
some people eat there feelings. i know i do. it doesnt really help but hey maybe you feel better.
