Beautify Me

En lieu of seeking change for my 25th year of living, I have decided to finally attack my beauty goal list. I want to be healthy, fit, lean, fashionable, and self-disciplined. I have figured out where my weaknesses were in the past attempts, and have comprised a list of short-term goals and behaviors that will ultimately lead to my long-term ones. I have titled this new strategy Beautify Me and I'm proud to say it is a very organized system. The only one who will keep me from these dreams is me, and I want to develop these habits to ultimately become a better person.

Here is the list!

  • Drink 8 eight-ounce glasses of water daily.

  • Work out 5 days a week (cardio and toning).

  • Swear off gluten completely.

  • Do Blood Type Diet for maximum health and achievable weight loss.

Reasons why: 1} my exercise routine is low-impact, 2} current body fat 23%; healthy fitness goal: 15%

  • Wash face twice a day (meaningful beauty).

  • 3 Daily doses of chia seeds.

  • Hairtopia (I've always dreamed of having long hair but am too addicted to change).

I will try this for two weeks and see how things start turning out.  Week 1 is going well so far~

Haha, we are alike so much. I have this whole list of beauty (fit, morals, etc) goals that I want to acomplish. I've written them out a billion times, but I've never stuck to them. This year is a time to make that list come true. Loose 5 lbs, tone up, grow my hair out, drink 8 glasses of water a day, get CLEARER skin, become a vegetarian (again), come closer to God, Get along with my family, When my hair grows out get it cut the way I want, become eco friendly, get better at applying makeup, etc, etc, etc. And it goes on and on. Well, good luck to you!!! :D

Yay for going gluten-free! I've been diagnosed with celiac disease so I'm working on transitioning into becoming gluten-free also. I read somewhere that 97% of food products on the market today aren't gluten-free, how much does that suck? I've also been growing out my hair, it's just past my boobs :). Anyway this was inspiring, thanks!

Sounds like you and I have a lot in common :) I'm a Christian too... and becoming a better steward of what God has given me is on my big list...this was just in regards to the way I look :) I've always looked the same so I'm super-ready for a change! Thanks for reading! Best of luck to you too :)
