OS, founded by Max Polyakov, was invited to the 68th IAC to network with global partners and make their own contribution to solving space issues. After one of the official sessions, EOS was awarded the Certificate of Membership. From now, Max Polyakov's EOS can vote at the General Assembly.
Today, a lot of attention is captured by space research and exploration issues. The International Astronautical Federation is the kind of organization that sets those goals ahead of everything else and tries to spread their knowledge and recent developments around the world. At International Astronautical Congress 2017, EOS of entrepreneur Max Polyakov came on board and became a new member of IAF.
Since 1951, the IAF has been trying to connect young scientists and technological enthusiasts from all over the world to work together to make contributions to space-related activities. Each International Astronautical Congress, which is held annually, is aimed to create a scientific platform to create an international network. Nowadays, the organization currently comprises more than 300 members from 66 countries including different agencies, companies and associations, like the one lead by Max Polyakov.
The 68th International Astronautical Congress was held in Adelaide, Australia with 4500 representatives from 70 countries. The program of the 2-day event was full of activities like general and technical sessions, a variety of exhibitions, associated events and social meetups. A special focus was given to big anniversaries, like the 60-year anniversary since the launch of the first satellite, Sputnik, the 50th anniversary of the Outer Space Treaty and the 50th anniversary of WRESAT launch, the first Australian satellite.
Decidedly, Max Polyakov was impressed with the level of organization and especially with the mission to draw the attention of the younger generation and give the the event an educational direction. That’s why organizers invited more than 1000 volunteers from all over the world and gave them the opportunity to participate.
At the end of the 1st session of the IAF General Assembly, there was an Award Ceremony for new federation members. Max Polyakov’s EOS received a Certificate of Membership with an IAF 60th anniversary memorable flag, that had flown in space for 444 days. For EOS, this partnership means joining the biggest and the most powerful society of space influencers. From now EOS will have the opportunity to vote at the General Assembly and take part in the building and reorganizing of the Federation.
Max Polyakov shared his expectations that IAF membership will open new horizons and possibilities for EOS to develop the space community. He believes that his company will become an active participant in this exciting and valuable industry.
