Beauty tips for exam season

Exam season is probably the most stressful time in anyone’s life. Even
as an adult the thought of reliving high school and college exams is the stuff
of nightmares. If you’ve decided not to hire a service to write your UK Essays then you’ve probably got a lot of
work ahead of you, which means that all of the free time that you used to have
is going to dwindle away. When you’re caught between studying, stressing
and sleeping, there’s not much time to do simple things like your daily makeup
routine. But, that doesn’t mean that you have to live in your sweatpants and
throw away your makeup. Here are a few tips to help you stay stylish during the
exam season.

Drink water

Caffeine can have some pretty negative effects on your body,
especially when you’re overdosing on it to make it through late night cram
sessions. While caffeine might be a necessity during this time of year, you
don’t have to drink it all the time just to stay awake. Drinking water and
staying hydrated can help you stay awake and keep you concentrating during
study sessions. It can also give you clear skin, whereas coffee and energy
drinks can give you acne. When you drink water instead of coffee, you will find
that you don’t have to put as much makeup on in the morning just to cover your
spots, saving you time without sacrificing your good looks.

Master the art of the
messy bun

Drying, brushing and styling your hair every day takes up
too much time and energy, and you just can’t afford it when you’ve got a week’s
worth of exams looming. To save time on styling your hair every morning, invest
in some dry shampoo, bobby pins and some versatile hair accessories. With these
tools you can easily put together a relaxed and chic hairstyle that takes
little to no work and can effectively hide the greasy hair that you don’t have
time to wash. In fact, a lot of hairstylists say that slightly dirty hair is
the easiest to style, so don’t worry if you haven’t had time to wash it.

Stick to the

While you might be used to a perfect 50 step daily makeup
routine, these days you probably just don’t have time for it anymore. So, what
you need to do instead is identify the basic, most important elements of your
makeup routine and focus on those. This includes curling your eyelashes,
shaping your eyebrows, covering any blemishes and adding a touch of colour to
your lips. Invest is some good quality multipurpose makeup products to save
time and money and, when in doubt, use over the counter eye drops and a cold
flannel to make your eyes look less tired if you don’t have time to pile on the

Pair separates and
layer your outfits

Don’t have time to iron that cute dress you’d been planning
on wearing? Not to worry. The easiest way to put together a cool look on a time
crunch is to layer and mix your clothes. Make every item you’re wearing a
different colour (although they should go together reasonably well) and stick
with the basics. T-shirts, jeans, a jacket and a pair of ankle boots are a
combo you could never go wrong with and if you’ve already got those in your
wardrobe then you’re ready to hit the town. If you have some good quality
basics, you’re more than prepared to tackle exam season fashion.
