thin hair is often caused by improper care. homemade hair thickening remedies are simple, cost efficient and effective. these home remedies give fast results for thick and lustrous hair. in addition to these hair thickening solutions, eat a diet consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure that you receive the necessary antioxidants for healthy hair. a vitamin deficiency can cause hair to become thin and brittle.
banana and avocado;
a combination of mashed avocado and banana make a thickening mask that will nourish and strengthen brittle hair. bananas contain vitamin a and potassium, which regulate moisture balance and clarify the scalp. these properties enable hair to grow healthier resulting in thickness. avocados contain b vitamins, vitamin a and e as well as protein for healthy hair.
create a creamy paste with one quarter of a banana and one quarter of an avocado. massage into the scalp and throughout your hair, cover with a shower cap and allow to soak for twenty minutes. shampoo and condition as usual to reveal thicker hair along with a healthy scalp to prevent brittle hair growth.
oat flour;
oat flour contains lipids that thicken brittle hair after one use. aat flour can be found at any grocery or health food store and has a long shelf life.
simply add two tablespoons of oat flour to your regular conditioner and use as often as you condition hair. you can also create oat flour water to saturate your hair before you use conditioner. dissolve one tablespon of oat flour in one cup of water.
eggs;
eggs are rich in vitamins a, d and e along with a number of b vitamins and protein to strengthen and thicken hair. these vitamins balance the sebum production in the scalp to ensure that hair does not grow thin and brittle, and repair any damage that exists on the scalp. the protein coats each strand while strengthening and thickening the entire length of hair.
lightly beat one raw egg and massage it into the scalp. take a wide-tooth comb and distribute evenly throughout the entire length of hair. leave the egg in hair for about five minutes and rinse with cool water. water too hot will scramble the egg in your hair, and it will become very difficult to remove.
