I just learned this from my former professor who had been really fat for all of her years. She found out that eating outmeal for breakfast, lunch and dinner can lose you 2 kilos of your weight. I believed her that's why I tried it.
And yeah. It worked. But the sad thing about eating oatmeal the whole day is, you get tired of the taste. You feel like you've been eating a baby food all day long. But if you really wanted to lose weight, you gotta' earn it.
