It's been over a month since I posted my last & first fashion blog and from now on, I will do them monthly even though at first I hoped I could possibly write them weekly. This blog focuses on spring fashion and is owned by floral designs, lace and bright colored light clothing. Also, as you'll notice, I've added one more chapter to my blog, which is celebrity style icon for a certain month. With no further due - here it is.
My casual look of the month
This time, there are two casual looks and they are both a lot more elegant than the casual outfits in my previous blog. There's a simple explanation for that. Spring is all about colors, brightness, fun and when it comes to fashion, it has a bit more sophistication than winter. And the reason why there are two outfit choices is because it's not warm everywhere quite yet, so if you live in areas where the weather still doesn't let you wear clothes like picture no. 2 shows, then you can still be in the spirit of spring, with different types of clothes. If the first one isn't playful enough for you, you can sparkle it up with a bright-colored bag or belt. Since so many materials and colors are on the spot in the first outfit, don't go over the top. Both of those are outfits I'd personally choose to wear and I think they really give the feeling of spring and its freedom. Also, cardigans are a big part of spring fashion. A neutral cardigan speaks for itself and gives your bright outfits a background, something to melt into.
Trendy things in March
Floral design is on the table once again - this time on shoes. If you think your everyday outfits are boring why not give them a special spring glow? Whether it's heels or flats, there's a floral choice in everything. :)
Dresses. They have their annual comeback right about this time of year. Floral or any other color, they are always fun, playful and I don't think they are many spring dresses that are uncomfortable. So there's another plus. Belts, bags, hats, accessories and cardigans all make a dress stand out even more. :)
My formal look of the month
It's very fun and playful, and yet gives away the feeling of sophistication. It can be combined with lots of other things, tights, maybe flats instead of heels, and then you have this perfectly appropriate outfit. But it's not provocative or anything, it's just fun, and that's what makes spring fashion amazing to me. Everything looks sweet and cheerful, not slutty and... well nothing else is needed in continuance. Again, all my suggestions can be combined with so many different things, maybe even a cardigan over this dress. Anything your mind comes up with. Also, I think I should give a little heads up to this: I don't think it's a good idea to wear multiple parts of clothing with floral designs, nonetheless, with different floral designs. One thing is about enough.
Celebrity style icon of the month
Jessica Alba is, in my opinion, this month's best dressed celebrity. She's always had a unique style. This is from her LA Confidential cover shoot and I think it's fabulous. It's everything I've written about in this blog. Fun, colorful, floral, and there's also lace. Maybe not in these pictures, but there are others where she's wearing a lace dress. And all those things just give me the true feeling of spring: a bit boho, relaxed, playful, a bit vintage... I could go on forever.
This is it for now, I'm looking forward to your feedback, so don't be shy to leave a comment. And I have questions for the readers:
-What is your favorite piece of clothing for this time of year?
-Who is your best dressed celebrity of the month?
until next month,
xo Rony ♥
