Here's the second installment to my nail art article posted a while back. It'll include tutorials and an overview of some unique designs. I've tried to range it abit from cutesy to rock to more of a colourful vibe to themed ones. I added some commentary to some of them, note these are strictly my own feelings , and I'd love to hear some of your feelings about them. And if you're daring to try some tutorials, i'd love to seem them on Q&A. Sadly I have short nails and lack artistic abilities to do any of these even with nail art nail polish XD maybe some day I'd be skilled, but man, i'd love to try some over the top designs.

This is pretty cool. If you ask me the simple cut out paper and fitted it to their finger nails and added
2 coats of clear polish. Don't forget the base coat D:! This is my favourite out of all the others in this
article, it's unique, simple and not over the top.

Even if you have medium to short lengthed nails you could always go 3D.
They add , literally, another dimension to your nails and as long as you don't
go all out like the next picture, you'll be able to do day to day things XD. So...
cutesy and...pink. The hello kitty design is lovely though XD.

I, personally, am not a fan of Ed Hardy, but these nails scream glamour. It may just be the
glitter and beads or intricate detail but..This is alright, I kinda only like the Kills nail mainly, seems
quite rockish. If she stuck to that theme this would be better...right? This is a bit Over the top though.
IDEA: Look in your closet, for patterned clothing, you could more or less replicate the design on your nails

This pattern obviously gives a vintage feel to it. Emulating fabric itself, one way to be
unique in nail art is simply to try to emulate patterns found within your original sets of
clothing.

Dripping nails, Something about these are just so interesting. Style wise i'd try to incorporate them
with other elements..
STICK WITH A THEME:

Spongebob theme

Superhero theme

Dark Rock themed nails (japanese model Sakurina's nails) remember my article on decoden, well
a few japanese are a bit over the top in terms of decorating especially their nails with trinkets, gems etc.
It's very artistic to look at, but i can't imagine how tough it would be to do stuff with them on like i said earlier.

They're nice to look at but gosh, a bit too hardcore. ._.
To give you a rough sketch, her nails usually cost 42,000 yen to do, which is roughly 470 USDs. Is it really worth it? o.o

alot of them aren't artificial :P Only the ed hardy ones, I know the japanese girl's nails are long, because they like to keep them long, they just pile too much on them for me :P
